Operations

Since May 1989 Reddick Contractors Ltd has provided the Maintenance, Operations, and On-Call services for a variety of power generating facilities. Currently there are 5 Hydro Generating facilities under our umbrella of operational control, representing 7 separate Turbine/Generator Units.

Throughout this 28 year span the Team assembled by Reddick Contractors Ltd has remained largely unchanged.

Our Core group of highly skilled operators, tradesmen and engineers provide knowledgeable and reliable expertise.  Our company has been actively involved in the management and supervision of numerous sub-contractors and third party organisations.

All of the above personnel have been actively involved in all facets of the Hydro Generation industry, providing Mechanical, Electrical, Operational, Systems Installation, Engineering and Fabrication expertise to the Generating Stations. The supervision of various sub-Contractors and 3rd party organizations has been within our scope of responsibilities. We have the knowledge base necessary to effectively assess, troubleshoot and repair all equipment, as well as provide long term planning, capital expenditure, budgetary estimates and the creation of maintenance programs and procedures.

This Team has successfully provided 24 hour per day, 7 days a week On-Call services throughout this 28 year period. At all times there is a primary On-Call Team Member, as well as a secondary backup. This flexibility to supply qualified support Personnel provides our Customers with a highly reliable and efficient method of response to all Operational, Equipment, and System related problems or emergencies.

We have developed an extensive support base of Engineers, Consultants, Manufacturers, Suppliers and Industry Service Groups, that, together with our own experience in this field enable our Company to offer a total Management and Operational Package to our Customers

Reddick Contractors has been front line in the new installations of Hydro Turbines as well as complete retro-fits and refurbishments.
